Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals Announces New Staff
The Alliance is pleased to announce two new staff positions: Editorial Assistant Rosemary Perkins and Community Engagement Coordinator Grant Van Leuven.
As editorial assistant, Rosemary will transcribe radio sermon scans from The Bible Study Hour for online daily devotional posts at ThinkandActBiblically.org and promote them in social media. The daughter of an Orthodox Presbyterian Church pastor, she lives and serves in ministry with her husband and their son in the Middle East. Perkins graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, with a B.A. in biblical studies. She is pursuing an M.A. in systematic theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI.
Our new community engagement coordinator Grant Van Leuven will be a West Coast representative for development, church relations, and events. He also will coordinate public and media relations for the Alliance and assist with grant writing, print publications, and the editing of various online magazines while continuing as a contributing writer for several of them. A bi-vocational pastor, Van Leuven has been serving as minister of the Puritan Evangelical Church in San Diego, CA, since 2010. He earned his M.Div. from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA, where he also served as director of development and communications.
